Glenna Griffin, PhD, leads Enterprise Learning & Development at Biogen. With more than 20 years of experience in learning and development, Glenna has led global teams that have impacted thousands of employees to greater professional development and personal growth. Glenna’s curiosity around leadership development programs and their impact on employee performance caused her to pursue her PhD in Organizational Leadership with her dissertation entitled: “Does Participation Matter? Exploring the Role of Participation in Corporate Leadership Development Programs on the Intent to Stay of High-Potential Employees in the Biotech Industry.” Glenna lives in Moncure, NC.

Candace Marles has been a learning and development leader in the RTP area for well over 20 years and has designed e-learning on topics as varied as gender sensitivity, pharmaceutical drug development, LMS administration for training coordinators, and advanced analytics. Working for clients such as the UN Development Programme and The Center for Black Health & Equity has helped Candace understand the importance of inclusive design.

Laura Paramoure, EdD, has 25 years of experience in performance improvement, training design, and evaluation. She is the author of ROI by Design™ (2014) and a featured speaker on the topic of return on investment for training organizations. Her private sector experience includes Director of Training and Development with Parata systems where she was responsible for the establishment and deployment of both domestic and international training. She is currently the CEO of eParamus, a company which helps organizations of all types and sizes optimize and verify the impact of their learning programs.

Dr. Joe Perez is a powerhouse in the IT/higher education worlds with 40-plus years’ experience and a wealth of credentials to his name. As Business Intelligence Specialist at NC State University and Senior Systems Analyst/Team Lead at the NC Department of Health & Human Services (and fractional CTO at a North Carolina company), he’s at the forefront of innovation and process improvement. With over 17,000 LinkedIn followers and a worldwide reputation as keynote speaker, data viz/analytics expert, and top-ranked award-winning author, Perez is a highly sought-after resource in his field. He speaks at numerous conferences each year, reaching audiences in over 20 countries and has been inducted into several prestigious Thought Leader communities, resulting in Top-Ten rankings in data categories and selection as 2023 Gartner Peer Community Ambassador of the Year.  When not working, he shares his musical talents, giving back to his community through involvement in his church’s Spanish and military ministries.

Kimberly Sinnott started her career as a remote employee for the March of Dimes national office in 1996 (negotiating a hybrid role upon the birth of her first child).  After a stint as a stay-at-home mom supporting her children with learning challenges, she reentered the workforce to lead a remote team for Kaplan (repeatedly named best of 100 companies for remote jobs). 

A pioneer in online education, she taught for over 16 years as an adjunct at an online university transitioning to the Director of Faculty Engagement and Director, Academic Learning and Development roles.

Kimberly earned her instructional design certification from George Washington University’s online program and her doctorate online with Capella University in 2021. Her doctoral research focused on building high performing, collaborative teams in the hybrid workplace. 

Kimberly has held Director, Global Learning and Development positions at several tech companies and is Chief Learning Officer for her own consulting company, Sinnott Learning and Development. Kimberly is a change management practitioner with Prosci, leads professional development, upskilling, and technical training for global organizations as well as communications and training initiatives for organizational changes.
